I like the video, and I do like also the website "Nakhweh" i think it an amazing website, however there are some points that i feel i need to remark; i believe there is a difference between an Entrepreneur and someone innovative . other than the differences in attributes of those 2 different types of people, an Entrepreneur (business, social) has leadership related competencies, risk taker, and most importantly distinguished by his/her fundamental impact, however and innovative person, is a person who is able to approach problems in a creative way, open mindedness but certainly his/her achievements are influencing but not impactfull.
And from this i can only conclude that some of those those people are innovative people not entrepreneurs (in exception of Mr. Zreiqat and Zekra Initiative.

I would ask you Dalia to point to one single statement in the video that indicates an orientalist "helping these people" approach. When you do that, I will be happy to have a critical discussion with you on the issue
I actually marvel at the shallow way this discussion is being addressed and how little people see when they choose not to. Maybe it's better for the person who suggested that i watch the video to re-watch it too and try to be a bit critical-constructively-instead of the cheering attitude
I marvel at the person so suggests that the approach in the video is orientalist. Not one person in the video said anything about helping people or referred to anyone as "these people". In fact, everyone was saying anyone can be a social entrepreneur and it's about our responsibility to serve our communities and not about charity or helping anybody. I would really recommend you watch the video again.

it is good that these people, from whatever social position they are, are doing what they do. At the same time it seemed to me like there was orientalist approach to the report and people in it-we want to help 'these' people attidute. I didn't see anyone from the grassroots, although they are various ppl who are socail entrepreneurs and are active in their communities, wila la2?!
